01SendClick Send to AgileBOQ. Revit or Archicad saves the model as IFC with quantities and rooms, in Documents\AgileBOQ.
02ImportAgileBOQ opens in your browser with the model loaded. Sign in, check the summary of levels and elements, and click Build the model.
03Measure & priceAgileBOQ measures everything to NRM and prices it for your country: BoQ, bill of materials, dashboard, programme and reports.
My browser asks whether AgileBOQ may access apps or devices on this computer
Click Allow. That is how the model gets from Revit or Archicad to the browser. The add-in shares only that one file, only on your own computer, for 45 minutes.
The model did not arrive in AgileBOQ
The IFC file is always saved in Documents\AgileBOQ\From Revit (or From Archicad), and the message in Revit or Archicad has a button to open that folder. In AgileBOQ click Import IFC and drop the file in.
Can I leave out furniture, the site or linked models?
Yes. In Revit, open a 3D view that shows only what you want measured and choose "Only what is visible in this 3D view". In Archicad, hide the layers you don't want before sending.
Is my model uploaded anywhere?
No. The file goes from your BIM software to AgileBOQ in your browser on the same computer, and AgileBOQ reads it there. Your model stays on your computer until you save the project in AgileBOQ.
Revit says the add-in is not signed
Choose Always Load. The add-in comes from Agile QS Academy (www.agileboq.com) and only adds the AgileBOQ tab.
